What is the Operative Spine Forum?
The OSF is an annual conference conducted in the city of Mumbai. It is an interactive conference involving young doctors striving to become spine surgeons as the delegates and the best of spine from all over the world as its faculty. The entire spine fraternity of India and abroad condenses into that hall for two days and discusses new procedures and possible simple surgical techniques that can be used to solve complex problems.
In special attendance are the best and brightest of spine surgeons who are currently practicing all over the world . Every year, there is an increasing number of delegates and an increasing number of international faculty.
National Endoscopic Workshop in Spine (NEWS)
The NEWS will take place from the 18th of May, Friday to the 20th of May, Sunday at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre in Bandra Reclamation, Mumbai.
These three days will feature over 15 live surgeries with 3 esteemed international faculty and over a dozen national experts in endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgery.
Operative Spine Forum 2017
The second installment of the Operative Spine Forum which was conducted on 6th and 7th May at Lilavati Hospital was a tremendous success.
With over 23 live surgeries and more than 30 esteemed national faculty and 3 international faculty, the conference was a grand success.
These 23 patients were operated upon by the best in the country and the world, were given the best implants and were kept in one of the best hospitals in the country, all at no cost. All these non-affording patients were given an opportunity to recieve the best treatment that medicine had to offer.
Operative Spine Forum 2016
The Operative Spine Forum 2016 was conducted on May 25th and 26th May, 2016 at Nanavati Hospital. The response we got from delegate was overwhelming as more than 200 consulting orthopedics had registered for the event from all over the country! Last year’s faculty included the best and brightest spine surgeons from Mumbai as well as Dr. Neel Anand from Ceders Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, California.
Over the two days, these expert surgeons operated on six very complicated cases with techniques ranging from minimally invasive spinal deformity correction to endoscopic lumbar discectomy. We got a highly positive feedback from all the delegates and hope to live up to our reputation this year.
